Filter on my '12 cuse7 must have been put on at the factory by a gorilla.

At the first oil change I swear that the filter body was twisted because I had to apply so much force to loosen it.

;D   Not that unusual in my experience.  Remember those instructions that say to apply a thin film of clean motor oil to the gasket when you install the new filter?  I seriously doubt the guys at the engine factory do that.  I've had the same experience with every new car at the first oil change as well.

Probably right about no oil on the gasket.  Maybe this is why dealers charge so much for the 1,000 mile service, lol.   ;D

Would probably have to charge for an extra quart of oil if they did.     :cherry:
