I believe the tour pak rack for 06 was 15 or so inches wide, the Dekker supreme is closer to 27 inches (DEKKER SUPREME

nixobilly, to answer your question.... No is doesn't. It's designed to fit the full size tour rack. I have one , I used it on my previous bike. Worked great on the larger rack. If you figure out a good way to mount it on the smaller rack .. Please let me know.

We use the Kuraykyn as well...it really comes in handy for easy access to those things you need, but don't want to open the tourpak.  Be aware that the rack is only rated for 10 lbs, so if anything ever happens to the rack, you never put anything on it that weighed more than 10lbs. ;)  On an more serious note, if you ever stopped very, very suddenly...and let's all hope that never happens...consider the weight of what is on the bike's rack and could easily come off and hit you.

To add to what Terry has stated about weight on the rack also beware when opening tourpak with bag or weight on this rack that the hinges that support the tourpak when it's open aren't designed for this extra weight. You may want to remove anything from rack before having this hinge/cord supporting the top.

Gary, you are dead-on with that statement. It is hard on the hinges. If I need to get into the tourpak with the bag mounted on the rack, it is a two person operation...I support the tourpak lid while Diva retrieves what's needed.  I just make sure I've got all the needed things in the roll bag...rainsuits, hats, wallets, headache pills, eyedrops, fleece top, etc...I try and keep it light by putting the fleece tops you might need if the weather gets cool/hot in there as they weigh practically nothing, but are bulky in the saddlebags.

I can get the Kuraykyn off and on in less than a minute now, once I got the mounting method down pat.

Try the Willie & Max "Switchback" line.

http://www.buywillieandmax.com/pd_mcs100.cfm

Works great, fits on the rack & comes with 4 quick tie-down straps w/d-rings.
