Up till now, I've used various synthetics in the primary- Amsoil, Belray, and Redline.

I just put in HD Formula + for the first time.

The shifter isn't quite as slick as with the synthetics, and shift are noisier, but it shifts fine and I can find neutral easily- it just feels different.

I do like the feel of the clutch better when getting into first gear. Before, (I don't know if what I felt was slipping), but it took a bit more care on letting out the clutch to take off smoothly. Now, I just let the clutch out and go- hard to describe, but the clutch action is definitely better.

I also use the B&M blue Trick Shift.  The clutch will not work properly with the Harley plus 1 primary fluid.  Due to having the magnet full of crap on numerous occasions I have installed the Dimple super magnet and it really collects the large & fine particles.  The Harley magnet on the drain plug will not hold a small 3/8 wrench while the Dimple magnet will hold a fairly large hammer.  Maybe snake oil to some but I would rather see the metal on the magnet that wearing out my 6th compensator.  Next time I open the primary I will install Steve's Compusave to make sure the compensator is getting enough lubrication.
