rinehart 4" slip ons??
« on: July 13, 2014, 11:55:46 PM »

2007 FLHRSE3. Have a set of Kerkers on now and am a bit deaf after a long day of riding. These slip ons have always had quite a snap to them even after repacking the baffle. Thinking of trying the Rinehart 4" with 2.5 baffle. Anyone tried a set of these yet? If so, thoughts on performace and quality? Other options to get that deep Harley rumble?
Thanks,
Stevo

Running Rinehart true dual system on mine with 3.5" cans and I go deaf with them. STILL haven't mounted the Fullsac DX system w/ 2" baffles but many here swear by them. If I go bigger on engine size Steve recommends I go to his 2.25 baffles. With a 2007 you shouldn't have the cat and if you still have your stock cans you should be good with those to mod. Check with Steve or look at his website.

I guess I'm going deaf. I have Fullsac 2 1/4 in the SERK and 2 1/2 in the CUSE, neither of which are to loud for me.

I love my Rinehart 4" cans. They come standard with the 2.25" baffle by the way- you mentioned 2.5", which you can buy and install, but if you don't want too loud, I'd suggest sticking with the 2.25" they come with.

They sound mean and deep at idle, and do give you that true harley sound. Check out a local bike night or some youtube clips and they will give you a good idea.
