I use copper crush gaskets like the ones my Nissan uses. Never replaced yet. Over 8yrs on the same one.

Old stock to the dealer but brand spanking new to the customer, right? ;D   Back when I still bought a lot of parts from dealers I often got a real chuckle when they would bring out a box from the back with a half inch of dust on it and I'd ask them if the high price reflected the antique status of the part.  Doesn't really matter that much with hard parts, unless the part has been revised a few times since the old dusty one was made, but things like rubber parts and gaskets I prefer nice fresh ones.  Installing parts that are already cracking from age always seemed a bit counterproductive to me for some reason. :nixweiss:
