I ride there all the time, great riding all the way from Italy to Northern Sweden. (Northern Germany is a little boring but good for fast transport since most is free speed)

maybe, europe would be the ticket!

Well, to me, nice curvy roads are fun at speed, not walking speed.  I of course would not push it down there if the speed limits are that restrictive. I don't want to jeopardize anyone else.

I am sure the scenery is nice, and worth looking at, but all I read is how great and curvy the roads are, some say challenging    Must be curvy as heck if challenging at 35 mph.

Nice curvy mountain roads in Europe are normally with much higher speed limits.

Makes sense. I usually have my wife with me but I did a nice stretch in eastern TN and northern GA solo and I did pick up the pace a bit

Trucks is a bad idea on a road like that. Surprised that's allowed.

Besides that a bunch of poor riders crashes where they should not.

Sure looks like a nice looking area to ride in.

It's a great area to ride and the Dragon was not even close to the best road!

rotary, alot of the turns are posted at 15-20mph and rightfully so. experienced riders can do better than that if the traffic isn't crowded. but it only takes 1 miscue & you're in the books with the other riders of mishaps. another good adventure is rte 60 & rte 16 in wv. I just took a buddy of mine on a wv tour for 2 days (686 mi). we took 16 from beckley to marion,va. part of that is called "back of the dragon". it's one switchback after another(mostly 20mph turns) for about 90% of the way. va,tn &nc offer the best roads for motorcycles & beautiful scenery,imho.(who am I)
