Thanks. Some of the guys I ride with were drooling over the color. First tank of fuel was 34 mpg. If that keeps up I might have to get a new license for my Power Vision and see if I can improve on that. Heat is not too bad, but I have the Wards FCS fans that help. After being on a trike for the last 2 years or 26,000 miles I'm a tad rusty on 2 wheels. Took the wife for a short spin this afternoon. She totally likes it, especially the lumbar support. We both hate the passenger boards. I miss the Kuryakyn boards I had on my other bikes. The auto locks are a PIA. Something new to get used to. I just might get keys made up and put the FOB away.

What kind of mileage is everyone getting off the tires? The rear looks like it will cost a few bucks.

I've got around 15k original on the clock but I'll be needing some new skins before long. Front one is in good shape.

The FCS fans are da bomb. If I move to a congested area I might upgrade the oil cooler to a fan type but for now not too worried. Thanks for the heads up on the floorboards. My gal mentioned one time that it felt like her feet were coming off the FB so maybe I'll look into that option.

Very nice looking machine, only problem is it's not the 11.5 blue one  ;)

I also have the Wards fans and I installed his thermostat for the oil cooler which I think helps since it gets the oils flowing throught he cooler sooner than the stock T'stat.

Try swapping the passenger boards from left to right - mount and all - it might give you more room so your not hitting your calf on the dang things, and maybe it'll be more comfy for your wife  :nixweiss: worked for me anyway.

Someone told me that in order to keep the subdued theme of the blue CVO going they put in a 103 and badged them as 110s!

I had installed the thermostat on the trike but didn't really notice a difference. With no air flow at all it always ran hot.

I ordered 3/4" board extenders for both rider and passenger and it should make a difference. I will try your idea of reversing the passenger sides though, that makes sense.

Thanks for the tip.

delta, that's a nice looking ride. I have a friend that has that color scheme. I'm just sorry you couldn't get them down any more. I purchased a 12 that only had less than 6k with all accessories, only 2 months old for 27k. as for tires, I currntly have 17k on a rear mich commII, just put a commII on the front at 21k (original oem dunlop). I've beengetting 42 mpg around town & 45-48 on the hwy. all I've done is put a fulsac pipe(head) w/o cat, sept & removed the baffles from the stock mufflers. Not bashing your purchase, cause the bottom line is, if you are happy that's all that matters. Just enjoy the ride & the compliments you're gonna get.   :2vrolijk_21:

I am only getting around 35-37 mpg. But mine does have different cams in it. I replaced my rear tire at 11,000. It had a couple more thousand on it probably but we were getting ready for a trip and didn't want to have to worry about it when out of town.
Very nise looking bike. I am sure you can figure out how to get your wife comfortable. There are a number of ways to change the floorboards
