Passenger Comfort
« on: September 01, 2014, 10:54:44 PM »

My husband just bought a 2006 Road King Police, as far as suspension goes it is far more comfortable then our 2003 Springer Softtail but not so for the ergonomics of body placement. He is waiting for parts to remove the back crash bars (they dig into the back of my legs) but I still have comfort issues because the floorboards are set too far forward. We have looked at offsets but they seem to offset out, not backwards. The seat is also much lower then on our 03. Any suggestions on how to modify the RK to get the same comfort as the SS?

I put a set of floorboards & mounts that were made for a Ultra Classic. They move up, down, forw, & back. Wife loves them, I don't have crash bars.
