CVO Limited new sadle?
« on: June 29, 2014, 09:01:36 AM »

I thought I was happy with the sadle but after a few rides I am starting to dislike mine.

I always went with Corbin in my past and wonder if anyone switched to one so far?

Like to hear if you like it or not. I am also considering riding out to CA and get a custom Russel made.

That might be interesting CVO Junkie.
I am looking for the standard black version with heat. (Kinda sissy but living up here I actually like the heat)

Any chance that is what you have?

Saddle received!

Thanks CVO Junkie!  Love the Corbin.

Stock seat will go to Russel to get a Day long made, then I have two good options.

Saddle looks like new!

I am in the exact same dilemma. How comfortable is the Corbin? I like the way it looks but I am worried about the stiffness of the seat.

It is supposed to be firm. Love the Corbin. Night and day compared to stock.

I hated they way the seat spread out my thigh area.  I took seat to upholster shop. He shaved down the side and the tall piece in the front. ( how ugly was that ).  Sitting still I can keep my legs underneath me not pushed out.  Helps for sure when backing up into parking space.  And just feels more stable when 2 up.   Cost was $150.    Couple days and it was done.   No pics. But to look at it, it's all factory

I ride a 14 Ultra Limited. Sending my seat to Russell once the weather turns cold. Recently I toured their facility. Very impressive, they literally custom build your seat to match your specs. I want Leather, they showed me the quality Italian leather that is used. I asked if it was better to ride in vs mailing the seat. They said the resulting seat would be the same. They require specific photos to be sent in. They actually use the photos to build your seat. It's not the sexiest seat on the market, I do think it's the most comfortable.
