Nice photograph but a sad state of affairs... Makes you wonder what the deal with the shooter was.

I heard a statement yesterday made from the alleged gunman's 18 year old sister.  She said that yes, he may have killed a policeman and wounded another, but he's not a wacko.

Wow, that's a testimonial that anyone would like to have about them.

They'll get him and I bet he doesn't get his head pushed down as he enters the back seat of a cop car.  The only way I seem him getting under police custody is on a gurney.

All our schools are closed and have been all week. They have expanded the search and it is affecting every one. It seems every one has put their life on hold till he is caught.People are afraid to to go outside and go anywhere .

We know how this feels.  We had the DC Snipers back in 02 and I recall the paranoia everytime I left the house.  Our daughter worked at one of the stores where a shopper was wounded.

I was near Frederick, Maryland on business when the DC snipers were arrested at the I 70 rest stop - I was on I 70 about 10 miles north of the rest stop driving towards the rest stop on my way to Baltimore/Washington Int. Airport when the arrests occurred.  I got caught in the traffic from the police activity and missed the flight.  I had flown into Dulles International a couple of days prior.  I recall being aware of the shootings, but once I drove to Frederick from Dulles, I pretty much thought I was far enough away from DC to be overly concerned.  I'm sure there were thousands of people closer to the situation than I was, but it was still to close for me!   ???
