Ohlins shocks
« on: September 22, 2014, 10:32:38 PM »

Bought new shocks for the limited a set of ohlins built but Howard @ motorcycle metal. The air shocks just did not cut it for us.  In fact when I took them off and set on work bench, I could not believe the amount of oil to come out of one of them.  Hum.
The issue  I am having is mounting the remote reservoir,  of course instruction don't help.  All they say is for 09 and up !!   Might as well be Greek.  If you suggest the rear bar, it's not really a bar but a cast piece,  I tried it there but hits saddle bag.    Anyone    "Been there done that".

Below is how one owner installed his...

If you type "ohlins #6" into Google you'll find quite a few more photos of Ohlins #6 installs with the remote reservoir.

I bought a set of #3-3's from Howard for my Wide Glide that I moved over to the CVORK; it made Miss Debbie a very happy lady.

Mine are similarly installed
