I was on HW285 SW of Denver a few miles north of Jefferson CO.  Elevation about 8500 ft.  The color is wonderful this year.  I rode a two hundred mile loop from Colorado Springs to Deckers and then on to Pine on 285.  Then south west to Jefferson and south on HW77 through the Terryall to Lake George and then back to the Springs.  Looked like that the whole way.

Colorado is a beautiful state - most anywhere in the state - most any time of the year...   :2vrolijk_21:

Anyplace in Colorado Rockies is special. Crested Butte is one of my favorites.  Always stop at the Wooden Nickel.  Great Food and Atmosphere.
