I'm looking at putting S&S roller rockers (part 900-4065A) (and S&S shafts) in my SESG2 with a 120R engine. I notice in the description of the Screamin Eagle roller rockers that "modification is required on Twin Cam rocker covers". Does anyone know what modification is required and if modification is likewise required on the covers with the S&S roller rockers? Any other comments or thoughts about S&S roller rockers are also appreciated.

Yes it it's needed.
Grinding the webbing away on the valve side of the covers.

The advantage of roller rockers is that it reduces side loading on valve stems and guide that reduces wear when using high lift cams.

Clear the cover as needed to allow free movement of the rocker arm.
