Have those lifter bores and rocker arm bushings checked for excessive wear when you replace the lifters. It's common in twin cam engines with mileage like yours (and mine).

What should I pay to have an oil pump,lifters and whatever else is worn causing low oil pressure fixed. I was told $1000. Sound OK

It takes about 4 hours to inspect, the r&r so then maybe an estimate is in order then not now. Before they dive in a sender check is prudent if it has not already been done. May save you 900 dollars.
