HI to all. I hope you all are having a great riding season. I was curious if the newer 110 engines make the same noises that my 09 does. I am referring to the "valve train noise" between 2200 and 3000 RPM. I am on the fence about doing anything about it because even though it bugs me to no end, the bike has a fulsac stage one set up, uses virtually no oil between changes and runs great. I have about 22k on it now and it sounds exactly the same as when new, super quiet at start up then when warm I get the "valve train noise". My hypothesis is that the engine expands and the pushrods don't so I am getting some slack in my valve train. I was thinking about doing the following: S&S premium lifters, and screaming eagle tapered pushrods(slightly over extended as some guys on the site recommend) thinking that would get rid of the noise between 2200 and 3000 RPM. Just for the record I have made mostly long trips and the engine always sounds the same. It doesn't matter if it is 50 degrees out or 112 degrees outside. Any comments would be appreciated. It is still under warranty and I will get the ESP next year. I don't ride it too hard and it is well taken care of. Amsoil in the engine, Formula+ in the primary and Redline in the trans. Any comments or enlightening information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance CAHDBIKER
