So I put a down payment on a 2015 CVO HC Mercury FLHXSE on September 15.  The dealer told me the delivery date was supposed to be October 20th.  As time went by they (MOCO) changed the date to 11/5 and I found out that was the SHIP date, not the delivery date.  I just got a note from my dealer saying that as of now, my bike is "In Process".  Apparently that means it is being built right now.  Next steps, they said it will invoice and they assign VIN and at that point should be 1-2 weeks for delivery depending on the "freight delivery company's effectiveness".  I guess I better line up a trailer to pick it up because it could be snowing by the time it's delivered.

Anybody have the same experience?

I got lucky. I walked into the dealership and my wife was standing in front of a blue/orange model saying " your stupid if you leave here without this"

you know what they say... if mommas happy.....I swear I did it for her!

Yeah, my experience wasn't quite like that.  The dealer I am going through has had a blue/orange one I could have bought and then now they have a yellow one waiting for a buyer, but my HC Mercury one was "allocated" so I decided to go for that one.  I could drive over there right now and get the yellow one, but my wife really likes the HC Mercury so I better keep my mouth shut and just wait patiently. She is fully supportive at this point so I can't push my luck.

My orig delivery date for my new CVO RGU was 11-14, today I was told the ship date is 11-11 so that lines up right.  Also my dealer is delivering the bike to my house and picking mine up as I traded it in.  This deal will be completely done before they even see my bike.  Trusting dealer and treating me right.

I haven't yet asked my dealer about delivery.  I never mind going to a dealership to look at shiny stuff so I'll just hope it's still warm enough to ride my trade-in 90 miles there and new one home.  If it's too cold, I have friends with trailers.

Similair situation here, left deposit on a HC Mercury. Dealer told me I probably wont see it until after the new year, January/February.

As mentioned above..... I hope this winter isnt anything like last years!! I can see it now, phone rings, bike is in, snow all over the place with more on the way.

Regardless, Its all good and I can't wait for the bike to arrive!!

Got the call today my HC Mercury shipped date 11/4 delivery date should be 11/12.  They gave me my VIN# all goes well I should be seeing her next Saturday the 15th.  The dealer I go to is 3 hours away in WV I'm in OH so I have to wait till I'm off work.  I can't wait    Hope they get my extra ordered parts installed before I get there.

Cincinnati  We have 5 dealers but I could go on for hours about the problems with each one.  Charlie's HD in WV has always treated my brother and myself like we are their only customer's.  Nothing but praise for them.  Plus they have a HD Cafe to eat at when we go down for service while you wait.  Nice ride to them, nice cafe to eat lunch at then a nice ride home.

Got word this morning that they invoiced my CVO so I should have it in a week or two!!  If it's snowing the dealer will deliver for free and pick up my trade.  The waiting is almost over...
