Caution: Unnecessarily long winded post.
I know, but I took my meds..(ramble on)..lol

I was doing some research on headsets for my half helmet. I probably won't use it much at first so I was looking for alternatives.
Short of going the bluetooth route (that's going to wait until my son gets his road glide) I wanted something that's going to work good with the new audio system. Mainly for rider to passenger communication.
Seeing that Harley believes a wired headset is worth over $80.00, I decided to do a little research and found that I'm not the only one who feels that it's a total rip off.
I also found that I could make an adapter to use a standard computer headset with a mic.
knowing this is not a new concept I'm hoping some of you here have built, bought or used them with various headsets.
So I built an adapter and tested it (works great).
So my question is has anybody figured out the best pc headset to use?
