Where do you actually live, then?

Curious as to what cheap Ebay polishing kit you bought and what came in it. I was getting ready to do my rotors but I was going to sand (180/320/400/1200/2000) then polish. But if you have a quicker way, I would love the details.
thanks

Sanding is a waste of effort.  An electric drill with a polishing kit is the way to go.   As to what kit - I bought it years ago, as I've done it to the non-chrome discs on all my bikes.  It's a common enough thing to buy though, you get the arbor, the polishing mops and some coarse and fine compound, making sure you choose one with compounds suitable for stainless.  Plenty to choose from, eg: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=polishing+kit&_from=R40&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR6.TRC1.A0.H0.Xpolishing+kit+stainless.TRS0&_nkw=polishing+kit+stainless&_sacat=0

Ah, in the far north! I've only ever been in the airport there. (Go to Qld a lot.) Good riding in the area?

No not really. There is only one road in and out of the place and the roads are pretty straight. You have to go to the southern states to get to the good roads. 2000k's then the riding is more interesting. One of the reasons why I now trailer the bike. Trailer it through the boring straight stuff then ride from when it gets decent.
