Torque and HP
« on: February 16, 2015, 04:16:43 PM »

Does anyone know what the torque and HP ratings are for the stock 110 motor in a 2014 FLHRSE? Can't seem to find any credible info. Would like to know what the ratings would be at both the crank and the rear wheel. Thanks.

Harley doesn't publish claimed horsepower numbers, crank or rear wheel.  They do publish a claimed torque number measured at the crank, and for a 2014 CVO RK that claim was 116.5 lb-ft at 3750 rpm per the specifications page.  Strange thing about that; the exact same engine in the Limited is listed at 115.1 lb-ft.  Typical H-D spec sheets, with the right hand never knowing what the left hand is doing.

Look through any dyno sheets posted that show before (stock) as well as after numbers for a rough idea of stock rear wheel numbers.  I've seen anything from high 70's to mid 80's for horsepower, and 90's for torque.

Schmidtdog,

Roughly 105-110 torque and 84-90 hp is what I have found on the ones I have owned.    2007 ultra, 2009 ultra, 2011 RG, 2011 SG, 2013 RG model 110's.   These are Rear Wheel numbers not at the crank.

Harley claims that "nominal" difference is due to the Heavy Breather on the CVORK. It therefore lists the CVORK as the "most powerful stock HD" currently on the market...
