The more this thread goes on the more concern I have. Would it be possible to show pictures of this sign/symptom so others could know what to watch for? TIA.

I asked how they knew the seal was bad.  Was told the tech takes a light and they can see a small buildup of fluid just behind the rear cylinder on the primary.  They had already detailed the bike when they told me about the bad seal.  Heck, they could have told me there was moisture on the thingy next to the thingamabob, just to the left of something shiny.  Have the warranty and wasn't going to argue.  The dealer wouldn't put in my Mobil 1 though.  Syn3 only.  We had a discussion about that on another topic.

Thanks. I'm using Redline I'll check next time it's on the lift.

I found my leak while on the lift putting in the Oil Temp Gauge.  While putting the sending unit in the oil pan, the whole area of the pan, up into the area between the primary and pan was all wet-roadgrime oil. Isn't quite dripping, but is running down from the seal.  I'll take a pic since I cleaned the area with engine cleaner so I could get an idea of how much is leaking by.  Don't know if it leaks sitting cold or I have to run till hot.
