Thanks peeps for the advice. I also got some on another forum. I wish I could do the mileage that some of you put on your bikes. Two jobs cuts into my riding time and makes long trips pretty much impossible.  That said, I spend full days on my bike on the weekends about nine months out of the year, and use it for my commute sometimes, so I want a comfortable seat. Now the bike is a CVO King, not a full dresser, so I'm looking for some style, too. I can get a C&C Fastback for $110 less than a Corbin Gunfighter. C&C is the only other brand to be recommended to me a lot. I think I'm going that way.

If that's the blue one under your name that is a beautiful machine. I loved those CVO Dynas with the inverted fork. That seat looks good on there, too. I'm hoping mine looks as good.

This is the C&C Wide Solo I ordered a few weeks ago. I am very happy with it.

Looking for a seat for the CVO King. I had a Mustang on my VTX that was nice, and I was comfortable on my Heritage, but I want something with a much lower profile on this more aggressive looking bike. The stock seat looks good and isn't uncomfortable, but I want to move back a little bit and I'd like to preserve the stock seat. I'd rather spend some $ now on a good seat and have the original around in the future, instead of replacing the stocker when I wear it out and being without the original equipment. Corbin and C&C look similar to each other, but the Corbin seems like it fits around the tank better. Recommendations.

I have a 2014 CVO Road King that's Tribal Orange.  Replaced the stock seat with Le Pera's "Daytona Sport".  I got custom stitching in the Dragon pattern.  Ashley at Le Pera helped me with stitch color choice by sending me about half a dozen thread samples so I could match them to my paint.  Looks great!  I've had two other Le Pera's and have been really happy with them.  I did the biker gel on the Daytona Sport which I like so far.  I have 3K on the bike and nearly that many on the seat.

Here's the update. I got a plain black C&C Fastback. It looks great on the bike. I finally got a chance to ride a little bit today. About 40 minutes. Not once did I try to push back away from the tank. So that's the first test. Next will be when the weather is better; how it does for a full day in the saddle.

Hey Puma, looks great! Did this seat lower your butt into the frame a bit? Better footing on the ground?

Thanks. Maybe a little. It's a little narrower, so that helps with touching the ground. That was really not issue. The biggest difference in riding position for me is that it moved me back away from the tank and bars a little. With the stock seat I was always trying to push back when riding. This seat puts me in a much better place. My legs are at a more comfortable bend and I don't feel like I'm sitting on the tank. It's like gravity pulls me towards the back of the seat now. Before it seems I would slide forward. The leather is thick and soft, too. Really nice feel. I also think it's a better look for this bike. Less like a touring seat and more aggressive and sporty.

The seat that would give you the riding position you want also happens to be the most comfortable stock factory seat Harley Davidson ever made - - - 100th Anniversary CVO Road King seat. It is also a very good looking seat. However, I have no idea if it would fit your late model frame

I don't think so, but actually not because of the frame. I think when they went to the six gallon tank the seat mounting changed. For example, C&C lists Road King seats up to 2007, then 2008 and up. Frame change was 2009.
