The LEO in Fredericksburg must be a little meaner then they are here. :( This is where I have my state inspection mounted. As for the other sticker I can just get it out w/my registration. [smiley=oops.gif] ;D

Is it OK to do it in such way? In some countries they require such stickers to be visible.

Sometimes it is better to ask forgiveness then permission. ;) ;D On both the H-D's I have owned I've put the sticker in a same/similar place.

The Freddy police like things all nice and easy for them.  They don't like to look too hard for things.  I guess none of them are avid motorcyclists.  I tried the city sticker in the tour pak thing, and got a ticket because I didn't have it "prominently" displayed.  That's how they get ya, is that word prominently.  Never fear d00d, as an out of towner, they'd accept it if you tell them that "C-ville" lets you do it that way.  I used to have the city sticker on the same side as the safety inspection, but was mounted on the uppper fork tube...not gonna do that on the Jester.  I'll go with the ugly plates instead.

Cheers [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif],

HB,
We have state income tax too...plus sales tax, plus personal property tax, and real estate tax.  The personal property tax is what I hate.  We have to pay a certain amount, based on blue book value, on cars, trucks, motorcycles, RV, trailers, boats, etc., every year.  It sucks, but we gotta pay it.

I noticed you have the same great taste in bike colors too.  :D

Well, I'ver always fussed about the amount of taxes we have to pay here in the good ole USA, until I spent a few days in Mexico lately. All I can say is, GOD BLESS AMERICA! I'm looking forward to April 15th. Well, sort of.

I would like to go, but it's being held in September and my wife is a contracting officer for the Feds and that's her busiest time of the year.  They don't let them take any vacation except for an emergency during the month of September.  And although going to Hot Springs may qualify as an emergency for me, I don't think her bosses will see it that way.  We are going to the National HOG ralley in Knoxville though.

HB

The national HOG Rally in Knoxville, TN is August 23 -25. There is a group leaving Four Rivers HD on the 23rd. We are staying at the Mainstay Suites. I believe in Aloca, TN. If you are interested in riding over with the group get in touch with Hooper at Four Rivers.
