Greetings from sunny Ohio, it's a balmy -4 degrees right now. I recently purchased a yellow 2009 CVO Road Glide. I always said if I bought another bike it would be a Road Glide. I never thought I would buy a CVO. Prior to my CVO I owned a 2001 Night Train. I sold it two years ago as I wasn't able to ride as much as I wanted due to my work schedule & activities with the kids. I put of 50,000 miles on the bike while I had it, mostly on long trips. It definitely wasn't built for long rides. I spent a lot of time & money building a "blacked out" custom bike. Fast forward two years and I now have a bright yellow Road Glide! My friends & family are still trying to get over the color of this bike, they all feel it's not me. For me, it's exactly what I wanted. Custom paint, all of the upgraded accessories, and not something you see in every parking lot; just like my Night Train many years ago. My only projected upgrades at this time are a solo seat & possibly new speakers/amp if I'm not satisfied with the radio on the highway. The plan is to ride & not spend a ton of money changing what it is as I'm totally satisfied with the look & all of the custom equipment that comes with a CVO.
Looking forward to spring & a sunny day to ride my new bike.
