:-\ I tried them on mine because I thought they looked good, but they killed the bottom end. It was a dog. Put my stock cvo cans on with fullsac baffles and power came back.

Going to put 1000 miles on it and then dyno.  If the numbers aren't there then I guess it was a 700 dollar mistake.  Well at least 700 dollars minus whatever I can sell for......  Keep you posted.

Any dyno numbers showing a large amount of  torque loss to where you could actually feel it?

Have to put the miles on the bike before dyno.  Feels good to me seat of pants but I am coming off a 96 so that would be expected.  I will post dyno numbers as soon as I get it done.   I can say it sounds great and I really like how the big pipe fills the void in the saddle bags.

With a SERT and a good tech to do the tuning, and the V&H dresser duals and HO mufflers installed, my dyno numbers were 96HP/115 ft lbs.  I'm very pleased with the low end torque and overall power band.  I'm a big fan of the sound as well.

I have dynoed a few of these. Your peak numbers will look fine. The shape of the TQ curve may be another story.
The big cores are real soft coming off the bottom at 2000-2500. RPM. Most dyno charts will have a flat spot in the TQ line in that area. If you just bolted these on a stock bike it will feel fine. Still making way more power than stock!

I like your header choice! Day ever comes you want to improve those big mufflers, I can make custom cores for those too.  :xyxthumbs:

Hey, Screeper.  The dealer I purchased my bike from had already installed HOs on my bike before it was sold to me, so I just ended up with them.  I am not impressed.  As mentioned earlier, these mufflers take a bite out of the bottom end.  I'll probably get rid of them eventually.

I love motorcycles!   Now I am thinking 600 dollars for new pipes, or 1700 for stage three that was what pipes were designed for?  I will wait for Dyno but something tells me I better start to save some money.  Will include a conversation with Steve as well as I love the DX pipe that went on the bike flawlessly.
