Finally was able to access the site. Looks like all they really wanted was for users to login.

BB,
They don't send you that stuff because they don't want the answers.....LOL [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif].
They know who you are (the dealership already warned them about you) so they're staying away..... ;D ;D

Yeah, I'm a loyal customer, I'll buy anything they sell. Why the hell should they give a rat's ass what people like me think. They're looking to find ways to sell to people who don't already own and people who buy one motorcycle every 20 years.

If they really cared about what the customers thought, they wouldn't need to start another web site/forum.  All they have to do is spend some time here with us, truly listen to what we're saying, and then go and fix the issues in their products and business practices that piss us off.

Big B is right, the whole thing is not about satisfying us, it's about "how do we attract new customers to replace the old dinosaurs we've been screwing over for years".  Just in case they are reading this, I'll answer that question for them:  Thoroughly satisfy your current customers, so that they become your best salesmen through word-of-mouth advertising.  And it wouldn't hurt if you could find a way to regain some of the urgency and dedication that existed when the management team bought the company back from AMF.  You have become just one more American business that worships cost cutting, big executive compensation packages, and impressing Wall Street, rather than innovation, product quality, and true customer satisfaction.

One thing that I have learned over the years in business is that you have to look at the bottom line. The Motor Company is not in business to sell motorcycles. They are in business to make money and selling motorcycles and motorclothes and accessories is what helps them make money. This is why a manufacturer will subcontract parts out to another company i.e. cost savings. Just my .02.

This tread reminded me of a slightly funny story I have been meaning to pass on to you guys/gals.

I received a letter from my local dealer last week informing me that I was one of their top 50 customers in 2006, and that I would be receiving a gift from them to show their appreciation.  Of course my mind was racing at what kind of fabulous H-D trinket I might receive in return for all of the $$ they had removed from my bank account!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

So what did the fabulous gift turn out to be????  A beautiful 2007 pocket calendar!! [smiley=mango.gif] [smiley=pineapple.gif]

I still might have been somewhat impressed except for the fact that I had already received 2 of the exact same calendars at work from vendors that we don't even do business with.  And to me, the kicker is, I would only get to use this gift for a year.  At least if it were something like a shot glass, I could use it for a life time.

Has anyone here received a better "Thank You" than that?

I  have not been able to log onto the web site  either and tried today and yesterday.

Did receive a plastic glass or cup that will measure up to 17 oz  wow!!.

I have only bought 5 new bikes since 2003-- 3 screaming eagles, but I do like my scooters and will probably keep spending my $$ at the Dealers.

I haven't received anything either.  It appears that this new Advisory Panel solicitation is only going out to 06 and 07 SEUC owners.  Is there somebody who has received this invitation that has another model of CVO? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Recieved email yesterday but have not tried yet. Looks like totally differant than the last panel from 2004. They emailed me once a month to see how many miles were logged ,what was bought at an HD dealer and what was not.

I don't think inclusion into the Advisory panel has anything to do with the purchase of a CVO bike
I was asked to join after purchasing a 2006 FLTRI
