Stock SE air cleaner
« on: March 26, 2015, 09:42:55 PM »

Hi all,  I have a 14 cvo deluxe.  Tonight I was putting in a K&N air filter when I noticed how much of the filter is covered by the chrome housing.  Has anyone cut the top and bottom off to expose all the filter?  Any drawbacks by doing this?  Thought.

I'm also getting my bike dyno tuned on Saturday, should I remove the chrome cover for tune?

No.  You want to have it tuned the way you intend to normally operate the bike.

Stock filter is good for 110 hp on avg so unless you have some mods planned the stock filter works fine.
