One of my buddy's has the autumn haze with a king pak on it painted just like the saddle bags.  Saw it Sunday at the ground breaking of the new dealership.  I can't say whether it was a king pak or an ultra pak, I just don't remember.  The paint matches very well from 20 ft.  It definitely looked like something the moco would do.  It didn't stand out, and didn't hide.  The uneducated wouldn't know the pak wasn't stock.  I think the wedge did wrap slightly around the back corners, like the haze saddlebags do, not like the B/B jester pictured above.  It worked.

I'm somewhat lost/uninformed here. It has been mentioned several times in this thread "Ultra Tourpak and King Tourpak" and until this thread I didn't know of any difference. Is the difference just all the lights that are sometimes on the Ultra Tourpaks or is there a size difference?

You're right d00d, it is just the light bar.

The FLHTC comes with the King Tour Pak with the AM/FM. The Ultra has the King Tour Pak with the Ultra Tail lights with integrated AM/FM and CB antennas. The TP itself is the same, just different stuff on it.

That's right, to cover up the huge honking holes they cut into the TP to install the big lights.

If you're moving to the King Tour Pak to gain the extra space, I'd stay away from the Ultra version because those tail lights take up a bunch of space.

If you're worried about loosing space, just buy the damn trailer and have all the space you need!  An escapade pulls real well behind a CUSE!

Better yet, the cost of the trailer is only a little more ($1k) than the tourpak AND you've now added something else to OCD on! [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]  And the wife can now take the kitchen sink!  So it's a win/win!

For those of us with melons, wonder how much trouble we'd have with the emerald black on a King TP........seeing as to how the MoCo can't get it right on our scooters.

Hi Bagger,
Here is a shot that someone else posted on her awhile back. I don't remember his name or the shop who did the work. (May be in the picture section?)

Another shot, I think he got rid of most of the black and stayed green.

Now THAT is nice.  The only reservation I have is that is his design.  I'm sure he enjoys knowing his scoot is one of a kind.
