I finally was able to upgrade my exhaust. I went with the vance and hines 4.5 high outputs,and I will say this ....my bike finally sounds like a bad ass cvo 110 inch bike. I had the fullsac 2 inch baffles and no offence to them but they did not give me the sound I was looking for they performed well and sounded good on the gas but at idle and cruising total Goldwing sound. thx for all the input on the pipes I will be putting the same pipes on my road king. also the 4.5 inch looks great with the exhaust cut outs.

Are you just talking about the tips?
If you are, you might think about replacing the headers too. It makes a huge difference.

OK, let's see the dyno sheets for the Fullsac and the V&H.....just curious what the difference is....where the power is at.

I went the other way when I had my 09, from the Vance & Hines Hi Outputs to Fullsac after I was shown a much better torque curve.

So, my 12 SERG,  had Fullsac. 

My 13 SERK with the built motor has fullsac
My 15 SERGU has fullsac.

I did like the sound of the Hi Outputs better than the 2.25 fullsac baffle, but did not like the loss of low RPM torque.  Fullsac is plenty loud.

I am pulling a complete V&H Big Shot True Duals off my bike going with the Fullsac DX pipe in stainless with titanium coating.  Mufflers will be the 103 slach cut with 2 inch fullsac baffles.


As Steve put  it, laying the ground work for future cam  changes and motor upgrades. We did not discuss the Gold wing option.  :nervous:
