I think you were wise to go elsewhere for it, I personally think your original dealer will never receive one and I am surprised you stayed loyal to them as long as you did!
Sometimes you have to do what's right for you.
On another note I was at the New York queens dealership in February, and spotted a hard candy Cvo in there workshop, I asked if I could take a closer look as I have not seen one , and sales guy and manager said no, (health and safety he said) what a load of old clap trap! Every other dealership I've ever been into in the states have spent at least half hour showing me around with pride... Go figure!!

Funny you should mention that.....

I work very close to the NYC dealership and the very same thing happened to me. I had been there a few times and spoke to a salesman about buying a CVO SG. I saw on their website they had listed a black and gold CVO SG as in stock and wanted to check it out. I walked in and asked to see it, they would not let me have a look after asking a few times. Knowing I was interested in a CVO SG and a perspective buyer they dropped the ball. I left and havent gone back since.

My local dealer couldn't get me one, so I just put it out there to many dealers that I was looking for one. I got a lot of calls offering me the new black color, or they have one coming...but they don't know when (no vin). Last Wednesday I got a call from a dealer near Detroit that said he just got one off the truck. I drove 560 miles and showed up the next day to pick it up. Just glad I got one...beautiful bike

I went to Jersey...Liberty HD every Hd in the city area wanted over MSRP. Miracle Mile wanted 40k before taxes, title, prep, freight!

Yes.
Bike Cover, Saddle Bag Liners, Small tool kit, Gold Key. Pretty sure that was it.
