I'm thinking about getting the detachable backrest for my Breakout, but the Harley Davidson web site does not list a chrome docking cover kit for the Breakout. I don't want to leave the docking hardware exposed. The setup is expensive, and I won't put out that kind of money if I can't find chrome covers. Can anyone help me with this?

I'll look to see which ones I bought, when I get back home. I have chrome docking covers on mine both sizes are HD. I believe I looked them up in the catalog, based on the docking point kit for the bike.

I see three sizes listed on Harley's site, in chrome or black, but I'm not sure what sizes you need.

Hey, thanks so much. Can you post a picture of your bike with the hardware covers? Also one with the backrest installed? I'd love to see what it looks like with and without the backrest, especially since we have the same, beautiful, blaze orange bikes.

I ended up using 48218-10 (Rear) and 48035-09 (Front).

Photo with docking point covers, I usually don't have the sissy bar on unless riding 2up or on a longer trip.
