After having the new Road Glide for a month, Christine and I finally got a decent ride in on the new scoot. Colorado weather has been very wet and cool, and work has been very long days for the last two months. Took a few days to get the clear bra on everything. Then the new exhaust and tune to boot. We finally got a whole day to do nothing but get a ride in! Still a little cool but a wonderful ride it was. I believe this is the most comfortable Harley I've ridden. We rode from Montrose, CO. around Hwy. 92 which traverses the north rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. A classic twisty Colorado mountain road which I would highly recommend to any one riding in SW Colorado. Montrose is only a half hour from Ouray where the GTG is next month. The Road Glide performed flawlessly and we only had one incident! To commemorate the ride, we set our camera on a small tripod that we've used many times successfully. Just after the photo of Christine, me and the scooter, a strong gust of wind blew the camera and tripod over, jamming the lens into the body, busting the lens and LCD!
