Does anybody have a recommendation for a TTS Tuner around northern VA?  Has anybody had any experience with WideOpenCycles in Fredericksburg?

thanks in advance,

Thanks backroad and thanks luc - I'd certainly appreciate hearing back after your tune w/Chad.

I met Chad and Max this Thursday.  I can tell you, I am now a believer in a good dyno.  Since 2008 I have run dynojet and Autotune.  Never had a dyno before Thursday.  Chad took my bike and really made the 2500-3500 RPM range awesome.  Its amazing what a good tune does.  After Chad completed the dyno, I rode it, still skeptical,  but 5 miles into my 15 mile ride, I was smiling ear to ear.  This motor now runs fine.

I am not chasing numbers with the stock bike, but am very happy with how it rides.

I too had been using Power Vision and Autotune on my FLHXSE2 since it was new.  Two years ago I installed an Andrews 57 cam and a base map from Power Vision and dialed it in with a power tune, and also created an economy tune for riding out west where the filling stations are a long way apart. It ran well and mileage was good, but like others, never had it on a dyno.  Chad picked up TQ and HP both in the range of 7-8 over what the auto tune had accomplished after many a tuning run.

Auto tune is good, but you never know what you have until a good tuner does a little tweaking.  Thanks Chad.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Luc and Mike for the great feedback..Gonna have to give Chad a shot with mine.  I'm running a stock calibration from TTS and believe there's gotta be room for improvement in power, gas mileage and overall smoothness in the way the engine performs.  Gotta go through a small surgical procedure early next week that'll keep me off the bike for several weeks but then off to Fredericksburg!  Thanks again guys!

Cheers,

Silvr
