My wife and I are going on a week long trip to Kamloops, Jasper,  and Calgary in early August and looking for any must see stops along the way.

once you cross the saskatchewan river on highway 93, take highway 11 over to lake Abraham. it's a very scenic ride and is about a 35 mile trip. lake louise is another stop you have to make.
highway 93 also known as the icefield parkway is the most scenic ride I've ever done. you won't be sorry you took that trip, I've got to do it again sometime soon. :2vrolijk_21:

Need to do the Iceland Hwy as stated. If you have time, East of Kamloops near Revelstoke, take Hwy 23 South--to free ferry--cont on 23 S to Hwy 6 to Nelson, then either head back north or cont S on 6 to Hwy 3 to Creston.   This is an absolutely beautiful route with lots of twisties and no traffic.
