Question for those that have liquid cooled

Can the screens be easily removed on the lowers?

Yes . very easy  just pull screen outward from one side , they have little tads that fit in the side of the fairing . its all plastic so you want break anything . I clean my radiator off where bugs have got stuck in them , I use a old tooth brush to clean the bugs off radiator .

Thanx bobby....... I am trying to think of where I can find an old tooth brush.... "GOT it". I will use the wife's.... she'll never know. :huepfenjump3:

A regular old scrub brush cleans them up in minutes.

They are so easy to remove that I take mine out and soak during the wash to soften up bugs.

Why remove them?  I have had my CVO limited for two years no need to remove them.

Why remove them?  I have had my CVO limited for two years no need to remove them.
Pull the screens to get to the radiators to make sure you get them clean.

 I see cleaning the rads is actually listed in the manual as part of the service and maintenance.

So far I had over 20 liquid called street bikes the last 30 years or so. Not had to clean radiators so far.

Off road bikes - yes. Mud clogs a lot 😬
