How to identify a CVOHarley member
« on: June 29, 2015, 12:23:10 PM »

Just thinking...

It would be nice if we could come up with an idea that we could put on our bikes to identify a member on the road. eg. maybe a small piece of black electricians tape off of the clutch lever that hangs down an inch or so.

any ideas

We tossed that idea around while in Colorado.  No one has ever accused me of being on the shy side. I have no problem just asking if I see or find the owner. .

I use the same method as Greg.....just ask "who owns that bike right there?".....introduce myself and tell them about CVOHarley.com

I know some have attached one of these to their bike.....
Not sure if you mean spotting a member while riding down the road or stopped?

Maybe if you want some signal while riding members could put one on their helmet?

At one time in the past site logo stickers where offered in a group buy... those of us that purchased them adhered them to our helmets or windshields. But as Naitram mentioned the site patches are a good way to identify other members along with some of the other site clothing.

I spotted a couple of them locally while on rides cause they had a Screamin'Eagle chrome script logo that is being sold on here from Custom billet Works.

That really makes the mark for a CVOHarley.com member...

I've got one of the challenge coins mounted to my horn cover, one of the Screamin' Eagle chrome scripts on the tourpack and a Maggie Valley pin on the Windshield bag...
