Question for UK members
« on: July 01, 2015, 06:15:54 PM »

Can anyone recommend a place to take my CV0 110 fitted with Power Commander to have the Power Commander programmed properly.

I am in the Stoke on Trent Area.

Unfortunately the  Power Commander website is out of date with respect to Franchised tuning depots (They don't seem to stop open very long).

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if these guys tune with your pack, but Boz who runs this company is about the best around for Harley tuning. Give him a call, he will be able to advise you http://www.powerglides.co.uk

Not near you though, but would be worth the trip  :)

It's been a long time for me; but isn't that only about 150 miles?  How can a trip that's only one tank of gas away be too far?

Not meaning anything here.  Just having fun.  Could be the bike isn't running well enough to make the trip.

Here in the States though we don't immediately come to mental terms with a country you can ride in a day (the long way).  I took a long day once and went from Brighton up to some little bit of a place at the top of the A9.  Took advantage of the late sunsets up there and it was a daylight ride all day and that took us from the bottom to the top of your great country :2vrolijk_21:

Don't remember for sure but I think it was about 800 miles?

Yes you are correct I am a wimp not wanting to visit the M1, M25 and Dartford crossing if I can avoid it. 150 Miles is not normally a problem, as I am sure virtually all of the clientele on this site will agree. But our country is only small and there are too many people in it for easy travel especially in the South East/London area. I must say though the journey you made is very impressive.

Lol, know how you feel. Didn't do 800 miles, but did do 650 Friday to Sunday around the Brecon Beacons in Wales, great roads :)

How about Tim Blakemore Racing? - Bristol, they also drag race some Harleys I believe.
