According to what one reads or sees this a common thing across the Cuban automotive landscape.  Still lots of decades old vintage automotive and motorcycling sheetmetal rolling along.  But adapted over the years to run, often quite ingeniously, with what could be brought to be bear.  

You can't knock their determination.  Given chronic fuel shortages, a road side commonly populated by easily picked up hitchhikers and vehicles kept running on songs, prayers and massive ingenuity and determination they just keep on rolling.  Without discussing the leadership at all, the people have exhibited a character I've always quite liked.

Cool video.  Thanks for posting it.  Now if I could just figure out how to pick up a couple of those and ship them home I'd be laughing.  Probably pick them up for next to nothing.
