New GPS! Garmin 450 Zumo
« on: January 16, 2007, 12:36:35 PM »

Same as the Zumo 550 without the bluetooth, text-to-voice, and XM. Site shows a 1st Quater 2007 release. Cost is MSRP $800.00 and some change. I'm sure on the street it will be much less.

I'm waiting!! I already have XM radio and radio. I don't care to bluetooth my cellphone. So this would be my choice. Just waiting to see what the pricing will be on the open market.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Yea, I'm interested in replacing my 2710 because of no POI support -- it has only 1k waypoint support..   dont need anything else but NAV

I am curious if it has the same North American v8 map and all the detail that the 2710 has.

I have the Zumo 550 and love it so far. I used the motorcycle mount for my RG and use the car mount for my Smurf. As the suction cup is smaller than the others I have seen it is able to mount to the gas tank chrome cover without coming loose. I have only used it for the GPS capabilities so far. I picked it up for $765 I think.
