Welcome to the site from Maine Ricohoc! I have Motolight Motorcycle Lights (motolight.com), caliper mounted LED's on my Ultra Classic - they are bright & definitely eye-catching to oncoming traffic. You may wish to investigate these... Looking forward to tales of your adventures!

Welcome from Vernon, British Columbia. Lived in SEA for 10 years or so and have ridden frequently on Phuket and the main land. I need slightly less chaos in my life now!! :huepfenjump3:

Yes, labor is extremely inexpensive over here.  The cost of living is super low.  A foreigner could easily rent a place and do more than survive on $1500 USD a month.  Depends on how much beer he consumes and how many ladies he tries to fit in the shower in one night. 

You can easily eat all three meals for $7 USD per day, and if you are not a big guy, the clothes are so inexpensive.  I still have to get a few things shipped over here (6-2 ... 245).

Welcome from the Tar Heel state. Love the bike and the color. I had one and added a Hoppe quick release fairing. That way I could ride in cooler weather. Enjoy the ride.

Anytime you're ready!  Better to rent vans with drivers, but scoots are okay for the quick trips.  I've got the maps.  :P

Americans can stay 30 days without a visa and just on their passports. But I warn you.  Have your affairs in order when you get here.  You won't believe it, and you might not want to go home.
