110 acr

How do you test to see if you have a bad acr ? When I start the engine it always comes up hard and when I turn the engine over again it starts right up. Think I might have a bad one.

You can do a compression test of the cylinders one where the compression release is turned on and one where you disconnect it.   If they are working you should see a compression difference if they are working.

If ACR test good the next thing I would look into is the compensator.  a slightly worn compensator can result in a hard initial start.  I had similar issue on my 2008 SERK and upgrading the stock compensator fixed that
