First time HD owner. I did the full Monty with a red/marroon CVO. 120 mi around town, then a 320mi ride Sat. WooHoo!!!
I'm a former long time Wing owner.

I hope this may be of interest to you.
Attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names. Many a lasting friendship have come out of these GTG's,
