Bogus.
1.) August 1st is a Saturday. August 2015 has four Fridays, five Saturdays, five Sundays and five Mondays
2. May of this year had five Fridays, five Saturdays, five Sundays.
3. it is not 'rare'.
4. has a certain FaceBook ring to it.
5. Any month that has 31 days...will mathematically have five of the weekdays matching the first three weekdays of the month.
March 2015 had five each Sundays/Mondays/Tuesdays. What's the magic supposed to be?
August 1st will fall on a Friday... not in 823 years, but in 2025, 2031, 2036, 2042, 2053, 2059, 2064, 2070, 2081, 2087, 2092 and 2098, to name a few.

Maybe we have different calendars.  My August 2015 calendar lists Saturday as the 1st of August (8/1/2015 for Americans and 1/8/2015 for others).

FaceBook, with its "Share This, share Everything" has really tapped into something that used to be famously part of email.
People will now "share" the kind of crappola that they used to "forward". Sharing is so much easier! Anything that says "share to create this outcome" will get clicked, because people are too lazy to even THINK before clicking and the attitude is "it can't hurt"; "just in case it is true". Well, ten million people sending garbage makes a pile.
The frustration for me  is how ignorant the sender appears, when they aren't unintelligent, they are simply lazy. Just think before you share... or accept that you'll look a bit 'challenged' because you didn't bother.

Oh, and while I'm being a smart a...leck.  Let me point out that thinking of a city with or without a particular letter in a specific spot in the name is not hard.  That's the point.  Every time you share stuff on Facebook you expose your information to the originator of the item.  Congrats!  You've just been added to their "They actually read our crap list".

Oh and the ugly wound growing on someone's shoulder with the deep pits dug down into the flesh... Its half a pomegranate photo shopped onto a perfectly healthy person.

Huh.  I have won the Australian Lottery 3 times (5?) without buying a ticket.  And Bill Gates is sending my $10, yes he is, dammit.  But it's been over a year......

I could be upset on your comments,... but I'll just but it down to you not noticing the humour icons and got carried away or didn't take the time to know what they meant.  I suppose I should have put it in the HUMOUR threads so it could be identified for what it is,... so it wouldn't be confusing to some

No I posted to make note of how silly FB click-bait posts can be. You saw how silly it was, but there are a bunch of people on FB who just don't get it.

Well, we were all DUMB enough to have plunked down well in excess of $30k for a damn motorcycle with an air-cooled, 1920's technology TRACTOR engine and a primary that falls apart... So why wouldn't we believe THIS?
