Overwriting Power Vision map

Can an ECM that has been tuned with a Power Vision be retuned with a SEPST or TTS with no issues?

The PV does not lock the ECM, so you should be able to have a dealer reflash the stock calibration to the bike, or you should be able to use one of the other tuning solutions to flash a new tune to the ECM.  The PV saves the tune that was in the ECM when you first used it, so you could always put the original tune back in the ECM first if it makes you feel more comfortable.

The system that does lock the ECM is the TTS.  However, unless I missed something, even with the TTS you could reinstall the original calibration which is saved by default and then use a different system.

Use the PV module and load stock cal back into bike. Then re tune with what ever you want .

Jerry,   You are correct provided the person gets the MTE file created.   When you first use the TTS you can create an MTE file it's not readable but if used to restore the ECM will reset your ECM back to where it was when you created the MTE file..
