Dr Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Exhaust
« on: August 19, 2015, 02:07:45 PM »

Reminds me of silent choice on boats. Anybody seen them in action?

They are very popular in Europe and the only choice in Germany if you want to have a set of legal loud exhaust  8)

I do have that system an my CVO RK and the sound (when open) is great

I heard that some people had issues with these pipes. After some time it gets frozen in one set up. Either open it close. The dealer in Netherlands told me this was the problem of earlier models and now resolved. I wonder if anyone heard similar stories or had problems. Thinking myself about this system for my CVO SG

Not a cheap system I see about $1,850.00 US.  Hope they have perfected it so it stays working.

I don't get it. Seemed to do the same thing in bothe examples. I thought the switch should let you keep it either quiet or loud not both thru the same acceleration?

I have the new smartbox system (CAN-BUS Model) on my CVO RK 2014. There is a switch you can use for different settings. Closed, all ways open, half open and regulated (Setup for Local German Rules) with either choice of open at start (or closed).

I like it much and they works without any trouble. Have it on the bike for 18 month and an my Fatboy before as long as for 3 Years.

Recommendation!
