You got to be kidding?  He turned down a better operating motorcycle because it was modified?  He obviously hasn't ridden Harley's very long, if ever.  Every Harley I've ever had, the first thing to go are the mufflers.  And they gave it to this guy for Free?   [smiley=rolleyes5.gif] [smiley=rifle.gif]   I would have been happier than a pig in mud if my dealer had done that for me, just to keep me satisfied.

check the mounts on them before you have them painted,, the serk has the lowering kit in it.

That's what I said too. So now he overpaid for a CVO, turned down $1000 in free mods, traded it in on a new 96' EG. Over list, I'm sure. And the dealer gets to resell a super low mileage Jester and make money on it again. PT Barnum knew what to call this guy, it rhymes with trucker! ;) Hoist! 8-)

Are you saying the hard bags might not just mount to the SERK mounting holes with the spring clips? I thought the leather and hard bags were intetchangable.  Say it ain't so brother! Anyone know the answer to this??? [smiley=confused5.gif] Hoist! 8-)

Thanks for the kind words Boatman. Appreciate it! Somehow I feel less apprehensive knowing it's finally here. I thought I'd be more wired about it now, but it doesn't seem that way. Regardless, I still can't wait to ride it! ;) Hoist! 8-)

they probably will, the pin mounts should be the same.  but the bottom bar might not be. the roadking custom(and serk) have smaller bags.  I've never tried to put one of the bigger ones on mine.  it was just a suggestion.  I 'd hate to hear you paid big bucks for the paint, then had to change somethin.

Howie, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the ride.  With the wider tires and lower frame, I found that it handles really well.  Leans and turns just feel so natural.., like the bike wants to be in that attitude.  Be careful taking it home.  You'll be focusing on the bike but the idiots in the cages will still be trying to kill you.

I'm dying to see how it tuns out. I've got the Rivera Pro stock clutch. But the next time that tranny's gotta come out, I want a splined shaft too! Take care man and BTW, nice work on LD. I'm in NYC man. You can never forget that they're all trying to kill you here. You do and you're dead! :o If I'm surprised about the handling after four other RK's, I'll be shocked. But that's what I was hoping for with the wider radial tires and better suspension. I'll let you know what I think. Thanks Bob
