Congrats on finally seeing your new scooter. I can imagine it was hard to leave it there another night after seeing it come to life. Not to worry though tonight will be the longest night you've ever experienced. [smiley=oops.gif]

You just better be glad that none of the "amigos" (me included) live near you or know your dealer. It would have been a classic (Punk'd) video to have if would could have gotten them to slip your paperwork on another bike and record your reaction on video as the “other” bike was uncrated.

For what it's worth, I have always referred to the Build Sheet as the Birth Certificate....it just feels right.

Nice Scooter, Hoist!!  She's a beaut...

The "bonnet" type covers they ship them with were on my bike too back in June...dealer told me it was the first time he'd seen them...maybe it's something they just started last year?  I saved mine!!  Might be useful if you ever ship and ride!!

Congratulations...now go get it broken in, or at least get the first 50 out of the way...

Thanks Terry. That's why I took them home too. I thought they might come in handy for something. Anyway, if it came with the bike, I took it home! It feels like Xmas Eve. Hopefully tomorrow's Xmas! My friend's in Vegas at a PC Training Seminar. I can't get my S&S's and PC until he gets back. So the first 50, 100...whatever miles will be stock miles. But miles just the same! Hoist! 8-)

Even as lean as the 07's are, with the ambient temps you have up there right now, it shouldn't be a problem for the bike....however, YOU might be shivering like a possum chittin' peach seeds....

You had to notice Red! I'd like to think that was the day they started the build. Then it took two more days and was completed on Wed, 1/10! After all, the CVO's are hand assembled and can't be built in a day. (keep telling yourself that, Hoist) And it didn't ship until 1/11. Works for me. Thanks for the Congrats! Hoist! 8-)

That silver leaf on the tank is awesome! Great pick in color, but we all know black as the primary color is the way to go  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif].  I have yet to see a SERK in person, I'll bet it's even more beautiful in person.  The embossed flames in the seat look too cool.  I know you're going to be loving life, hopefully tomorrow.  You won't even notice that the temperature is outside when you ride it home.  You'll be smiling way too much and people will think you're on something [smiley=hippy.gif], which you are, they just won't think it's because you're on your new ride.  Sweet looking ride.  I noticed that the B&O Jester sitting there already had Vance and Hines Ovals on it...they did the same thing I did, right out of the crate.

They first told him to take the Lowers off. He refused and said the bike was designed with the Lowers, he wants them and it should run properly with them. They put on the pipes and V&H Fuelpak. The bike runs cooler but the guy won't accept a modified motorcycle. I think they worked out an exchange for another model for him. What a fool. He just got $1000 worth of mods for free and turned them down! It takes all kinds! Hoist! 8-)

Yeah, but wouldn't it be nice.  In all these years the only break I ever caught was winning a $500.00 gift certificate.  I've had to work myself to ulcers just to get my paint fixed........and I'm waiting just like everyone else.  hopefully you don't have to live these nightmares with your new scoot.

You're $500 ahead of me! I hope I don't have to either Bagger. Right now, from what I can tell, the paint looks fine. There's no fiber glass parts at all except the side covers and they look fine.

I picked up a pair of '03 SERK Hard Saddlebags that I'm having painted to match my new SERK. I'll use the hard Bags on trips and the Leather Bags for shorter stints. My friend, Freddy the Flame, paints the best flames and can match the paint or at least compliment it. See, I have OCD too. Just a slightly different version though! Hoist! 8-)
