Picked up my 05 cherry on Friday.  I have 250 miles on the bike now.  Great ride.  Many compliments on the colors.  Dealer was great.  I have no digital camera, so no photo's sorry about that.  Bike runs well, but I am waiting for the Race tuner for pipes and air cleaner.  Bike came in with two chips in paint (lower fairing and front fender).  Dealer pointed the out and has new parts on order as we speak.  This bike feels much more "grounded" than my o3 SERK.  Probably my imagination, but I actually think it handles the twisties with greater ease.  Seat, well, what can I say, most likey will replace with the 03 SERK seat, as I liked that seat (ANYONE HAVE A 03 SERK SEAT FOR SALE???).  I have kept the bike under 3500 RPM, but it pulls well at reduced throttle and runs smoother than my modified 03.  That is about it for now.  Spook.

Spook congratulations on the new ride.  I remember a year ago when a whole slew of us were on this site, waiting for our thunder to arrive.........kind of like a bunch of little kids on Christmas morning.  It's a great feeling, enjoy!

Sounds like a good place to buy a bike.  What do you mean by a/c kit and chip load?  Have you dealt with this dealership before?  Maybe this will be the last time you buy a bike from them.  Happy trails on the red machine!

Congratulations.  I was hoping you wouldn't have "the big one" before you got your hot little hands on the throttle [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]As you probably already know, you get your shot in a couple of weeks when the HD survey hits your mailbox.  HD is taking a loooong look at service and satisfaction surveys.  Multiple "aw sh...t's" actually influence the factory allocation.  Good luck, have fun and head down to FL for Biketoberfest...lots of CVO riders enroute.
