Tail light before starting
« on: January 20, 2007, 10:08:37 AM »

On my wifes 06 her tail light pulses from dim to running light brightness before the bike is started. Has anyone else had this situation and what is the culprit [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Maybe wrong but it maybe be in the criuse control system, a buddy had that issue some time riding behind him you would wonder why he was on and off the brakes all the time and it was a bad cruise module.

I'll check out the cruise control, I have the fairing off checking the wiring since new lights were installed. Thought they might be the culprit.

If you follow the bike do they flash or stay on when you ride it?

As soon as you start the bike they stop [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

[smiley=cucumber.gif]They wont do it again till you start the bike after it has cooled down.
