Besides, if you get the SEUC you'll still want the King Tour Pak [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] ;D

Rog,
I have a solution for that too, just buy a trailer to go with the new SEUC!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

You know that would not cost a whole lot much more than the $1,500.00 but then again it would not give your wife the needed extra size backrest. Unless you put a rumble seat in the trailer for her.

I saw that trailer on Bushtec's website.....it is awesome and looks mcuh better than the big box on the back of the bike, regardless of back rest.  From memory it's about $4k + with the custom cherry two tone paint....but what a looker.

It is, I have drooled over the banana model for many hours. Since I too don't like the tp and hate the king tp, I have talked to Bushtec and people here that own Bushtecs many times but I just can't justify it enough to pull the trigger.
I only ride solo, my wife quit 20 years ago when our first child came along and she doesn't beleive my driving habits have improved over the last 20 years. Plus since she is the most irritating back seat driver in the world, I've never really tried to sell her on jumping back on.
Anyway, since it is always just me, I have always had enough storage between the chopped tp, saddle bags and a soft bag.
BUT Bushtec has sent me several pictures of their different models they have done to match 05 Bananas, so I keep drooling.

That Cherry is a nice looking set up.

I'd like to see any photos that you have of Bushtec with matching SEEG paint jobs.  Color isn't important.........just want to see the pattern that they laid on them.

MJZ, if you could post those photos on the attached thread, that'd be great........   http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1098558886/0#0

CVO, I knew I would get that response/advice.  Tbone had some REAL costly advice....get a SEUC and keep my SEEG so I have both of the looks and functionality to choose from....just like he does. What a  [smiley=deal2.gif] [smiley=deal2.gif] [smiley=deal2.gif]  >:( >:(The $1500 looks better all the time thanks to you guys  ;)
 [smiley=cherry.gif]
Keep an eye on Ebay, put a line in the buying section here and something will turn up. I saved well over 600 bucks when I got mine here. It doesnt have the lights, it has the spoiler, or will have it when I get the wiring harness from the dealer and get up enough courage to drill the holes and mount it. I thought about going with a different setup but hey, if you spend what we spend on a toy, you gotta make sure you arent skimping on the ads.

One thing to remember with the king tour pack if you add a bag to the top of it the bike gets very top heavy and effects the handling quite a bite.  For that reason I bought a legend trailer to pull behind the CUSE.  We ride to up so on long trips space was an issue but not with the trailer.  I also broke a tour pak mounting bracket, it was a kuryakan extended mount.

No it was gloss black, so it matches both the 04 orange & black and the 06 black & slate bikes.  While not matching, running down the road it looks good to the wife and thats all that matters.

I couldnt bear to add a rack and cover the top of the tour pack, I guess on a stock bike, but on what I consider to be custom paint, no way. Only my opinion of course. Now I gotta get  my chopped tour pack, which came from ebay and it was from a 00 SERG, painted to match the king I got on here. it just doesnt look right.

Got the King pack when I got my bike, now when we go together it's still not enough storage space.

Maybe someone here still has the template for the spoiler drill locations.

Ordered my king tourpak when I purchased my scooter from MoCo already painted. I got the detachable docking hardware, antenna relocation kit and backrest at that time also. Only use it on trips, but it is definitely nice to have when needed
