I found a job in the bay area, and later in the month I will be moving up to Sunnyvale. Thanks to AK, I will have a nice place to stay near the heart of downtown Sunnyvale, and a safe place to keep the CVO. I plan on doing the bulk of the move in a U-Haul Truck.

My question is, is there a place where I can hire "workers by the hour" to help me unload and move stuff in? Down here in LA I usually go to the Home Depot and hire from the parking lot. I figure 2-3 guys will do the job.

Mark, there is a Home Depot at Fair oaks and Kifer, about a mile from Andy's office. There's usually guys out there.
When's the date?

Mark ask Andy if you can use his yard boy, or his pool boy, or his painter.....or any of the other labor resources he keeps in the pocket.

Otherwise, Home Depot's always a source where I've got both great workers and some not so great.

Some of the U-Haul locations have people for hire to help with a move.  No idea what it costs compared to the Home Depot "employment office."
